 Why does the circle have a larger area? 2019-09-16 A student pose la question :given a circle and square of same perimeter, why does the circle have a larger area I’m looking for an intuitive explanation rather than a computational one. The area of a circle and a square 2016-04-10 Richard pose la question :I cannot understand why if you have a perimeter say of 4 units as the circumference of a circle then you reshape it into a square you lose very approximately some 20% of its volume but the perimeter length stays the same. Can you please explain this to me as to why the volume decreases.Penny Nom lui répond.
